Every month we’ll be posting a video online that comes from the depths of our basement out here in Toronto West. This first video is a cover of The Doors’ “Love Me Two Times” and we hope it finds you well. Our good friend Sean Egerton Foreman stopped by to take the reins on camera, so a big thank you goes out to him.

In addition, we’re pleased to announce that our only NXNE show this year will be on Friday, June 15th @ 1am for the YLMC Showcase at The El Mocambo (downstairs). Facebook event here: http://www.facebook.com/events/146140998844059/

Enjoy, and feel free to spread it around.

A bit of double exposure has left us with some cool pictures from the Be On My Side documentary. Heir Director Sean Foreman also took the photos.

People of the internet,

Sorry we’ve been quiet. We’re feeling great about the near future and the good things it has in store. We’ve hit a bit of turbulence in the last little bit but trust me that all is good and well.

We’re recording an album this summer, no name yet but we’re sifting through about 20 songs that will be whittled down to become our first full-length record. We’re playing a few shows this summer including four dates with Theory of a Deadman, NXNE, and a few other festival dates we’ll let you know about soon. Singles Club Vol. 3 might be a tad late due to our new friend’s contributions still coming in, but we’ll have a nice video from the basement online in a couple of days.

K, love you.

PS There are some killer shows going on in Toronto this weekend.  Go see Wildlife and Topanga at the Shoe tonight and then tomorrow head to the Silver Dollar to see the Sweet Mack and the Dirty Nil or to Cinecycle to see Greys w/ Marine Dreams and Cellos.  We’ll be at all three so come hanggggg.

Father John Misty (J. Tillman, ex-Fleet Foxes drummer) is about to release his new solo album and I’m pretty excited for it, based on this song alone:

Awesome song/video that gets stuck in my head almost daily.  He’s at the Horseshoe on May 14th.

The lovely people at Herohill.com recently reviewed our new EP, if you’ve been looking for a reason to check it out this review may provide you with a few.

Apparently Levon doesn’t have too much time left so I’d like to share my favorite Levon sung song with you. Myself, Christian and Patrick got to see Levon play last summer and although the cancer had made it difficult for him to sing anymore he was still banging away on the drums. He’s the second most influential person on the way I try and write melodies/how I sing. He will be missed…
